Axial Flow FanThe Axial Flow Fan is the type of compressor, which produces airflow parallel to the axis, thus the name. These fans are equipped with impellers, which suck the air in and discharge in the same direction of the axis. The flow fans mounted within a bifurcated duct, so that the motor is external to the gas flow, are a type commonly used in individual exhaust dilution systems. It is a type of fan that causes gas to flow through it in an axial direction, parallel to the shaft about which the blades rotate. The Axial Flow Fan is very effective and suitable for commercial uses.
